How are you surviving the summer pregnancy?

This is my first pregnancy, 29 weeks now, and this summer heat packs a punch.... and its not even mid June!!!!! For ladies who went through a hot summer pregnant, what advice do you have??? I'm due in August so its a long fight!!

I’m a FTM, due in Aug as well so I want to follow this for advice! I live in Texas and it has been soooo hot this year already! What we have done so far is get one of those “kiddie” pools! It’s 10ft wide and only like 3ft deep....cant swim in it but just to be able to sit and cool off in it is wonderful! I just dont know what else I can do when im not in the pool!😂

I'm due August 22nd and let me tell ya, dresses have been my best friend. then when im at home and not doing anything or going anywhere, i just lounge around in a tank top and undies. 😃

Well it’s been in the 80’s and 90’s here for the past few weeks and this is my 3rd pregnancy and first Summer baby. I am due mid August. 
My plan has been to hang out in the shade, swim, drink a lot of water and rest as much as possible. So far I have not experienced any swelling so I’m thankful for that!

This is my second pregnancy, but first summer one. I am planning a lot of pool time and staying in the AC as much as possible. My husband wants to make a few trips to Sea World (We live in Florida), but we will probably go later in the day so it isn’t so blasted hot. I want to stay mobile as much as I can, but I don’t want to overdo it. I already drink tons of water, but it’s still going to be rough!

When your outside avoid standing in direct sunlight. It really does make a difference to stay in the shade. Keep up with your water intake and don’t over do it when your outside, I made that mistake yesterday and today I feel super crappy and tired. It was 104 here yesterday  and I was outside for to long. As much as it sucks stay in the AC or go to the pool if you need to get out of the house.

This is my second august baby. My last I was freaking miserable! I literally say on the couch in only a t shirt almost all day everyday when it was terribly hot. I’d drink smoothies and suck on homemade popsicles. I didn’t cook either. We had takeout, salads, whatever hubby grilled or sometimes something I could put in the crockpot. I wasn’t about to turn on the oven or stand over a hot stove! We don’t have ac (it’s very common to not have it in Germany) so o had the shades drawn most of the day when the sun was shining. Early in the morning and at night I’d open windows and use fans to bring the cool air in

Just been pacing myself. I used to never use ac in the car either but I definitely am this summer! Trying to stay in doors the most I can and as one mentioned, water. Drink it all. Couple more months, we got this!

keep cool...lol... if you can spend time in a pool and drink a TON of water.if you feel hot rest and don't push yourself in the heat. at night keep your feet up. it's eas to swell.
