When did you tell your parents/siblings etc you were pregnant?

For friends i think I’m gonna wait til 12 weeks.

I told my 3 best friends a couple of days after I found out and I told everyone else at around 17weeks. I saw my best friend go through a heartbreaking miscarriage at 9 weeks and she had to tell everyone that she’d announced to that she lost the baby. She said it made it a million times harder. I chose to wait just in case.

I told people when I hit 13 weeks, 11 for family, and my best friend told me she was pregnant at 8 weeks so I HAD to tell her I was too!!

I told my immediate family straight away when we found out just over 4 weeks, and my husband’s immediate family at 6 weeks. We miscarried a week later so next time round we will be waiting until at least seeing/hearing the heartbeat on the scan before telling any family, and will announce on social media after our 12 week scan at the absolute earliest (but whenever feels right)
