Do BF babies ever get on a schedule?

Question

Our princess is six weeks old and each day can be totally different from the he one before in regards to when she eats and sleeps and for how long. I try my best to follow her cues and wake her to feed if it’s been a few hours, or when she wants to feed every hour-ish on growth spurt days.
Do BF babies ever get on a schedule? Should I start trying to make a feeding and sleeping schedule to stick to?? FTM trying to figure this all out 😆

I don't bother with schedules. My baby is 3 months old and so different to what she was at 6 weeks. I just follow her cues and know she likes to nap at certain parts of the day.

Nooo it’s too early for a schedule! Continue feeding on demand and you’ll get there eventually. Even now at 13 weeks my son’s only real “schedule” is down for the night around 8:30-9:30 and up by 6-6:30. Even that will sometimes change.

yep! the schedule is a fluctuating schedule. That's the only schedule I count on here lol. BF for 7.5m so far

I stared mine on a schedule around a week or 10 days. She was on a schedule the whole time I breastfed. She slept through the night at 6 weeks and never looked back. I read On Becoming Babywise. It worked great for us

Usually sometime between 4-6 months they'll settle into a schedule. But the "schedule" will always change as baby grows.

Yes. They eventually do. I didn't really start trying a schedule until three months. By six months we got it down. But of course things come up and you have to roll with the punches.

Yes! My daughter is EBF and is now four months old. We haven’t done any form of sleep training yet and we haven’t put her on a schedule yet! BUT she has her own schedule or routine that she likes to follow!
However! Every night, she’s ready to sleep for the night around 9:30-10:30 pm, wakes up to eat at 3:30/4:00am, wakes up at 6:30am, again at 8:00am, and then is up and ready to go around 9:00/9:30am. She takes a nap around 11:00-1:00 and then will usually take 2 shorter naps during the day (around 3 and 6). 
It’s not a perfect schedule and it does fluctuate! BUT there is hope of having at least some semblance of an organized life ahead! Haha 😘
