Mirena IUS

Hi!

i got my IUS fitted a week ago, and i’m still getting really horrible painful cramp. is this normal or should i see my doctor?

For a bit of background, i have been taking the pill without breaks for a few months before getting it fitted so this is my first “period” in about 5 or so months. i think it might just be that i haven’t felt this pain in a while and it’s taken me by surprise how painful they used to be, but i wanted a second opinion 😂
