Egg reaction?

Son tried eggs with melted cheese yesterday morning and in the evening had little red dots on tummy and neck. Today he woke up with these little bumps under his eyes. Cheese or egg allergy maybe? This is the 2nd time trying eggs.

Maybe it’s the dairy? I don’t think babies are suppose to have dairy until 1yr. My pedi told me to try eggs early since it’s a highly allergenic food and trying it early can cut the chance that they develop an allergy to it. I would maybe try a small amount without cheese and see what happens. Watch them closely for an allergic reaction. Or tell your doctor and maybe they can do allergy testing so you don’t have to try again.

Babies get lots of bumps, etc for a bunch of reasons. Might be worth asking your ped since they know your bun the best. Good luck!

Not sure based on the pick (and I’m a ftm) but I think it might be the eggs. I can share that I gave my LO (7.5months old) a tiny taste of scrambled eggs and her mouth broke out with very mild hives. Luckily it was cleared up within 12 hours. Guess our little babes can’t handle eggs yet. I thought I read somewhere that we shouldn’t give them eggs and honey until they’re 12+months old?? Naturally I found that after I tried the eggs. 🤦🏻‍♀️
