So. For starters, I let my husband pick the color for the nursery. I’m not a fan. It’s just too blue. I wanted something more on the grayscale. I had already chalk painted the dresser a matte navy blue. So then they were too close in color so I painted that one wall taupe, and now it looks brown against the blue, not gray. The crib is vintage gray (still in a box). I just had a vision for this nursery and it’s just not coming together the way I had envisioned. I’m currently working on a name sign for above the crib, a DIY deal because we couldn’t afford to order the one off Etsy and so far, it’s not coming out like I’d hoped either. I’m really hoping that once the crib and bedding is in there along with curtains, rug, and wall art it will tie together. I’m trying not to get upset bc we don’t have the money to change anything (I lost my job in February and my final temp assignment just ended). 😕😢
