I've just been for an ultrasound and the lady found a cyst roughly 3cm big full of blood. She said it also looked like it had been bigger but now as its bleeding into itself it may be shrinking but doesn't know for sure. I took a pregnancy test a few days before the ultrasound as I've been having pregnancy symptoms and I'm 8weeks late for my period, I'm always like clock work. the test came back with a faint positive. (I already have 2 kids and each time the test took a few weeks to darken) is it possible for it to be an ectopic pregnancy that wasn't viable or can a cyst cause a false positive test
