dont want to make a trip and get sent home

okay so last night around 9:15 I was in the shower and something gushed right after that I was having real bad contractions. me and my fiance went out for a walk around 12 at night but coming back home the contractions got worse and more intense. I tried timing them but they was back to back. around 3 this morning I had another bad contraction hit that made me wake up. when I woke up at 9 this morning I've been having period type cramps they haven't been strong but they do hurt should I go get checked.
