Old fashioned crib with no drop side?
My stepdad was a furniture maker by trade for many years, and he made his eldest sons crib back in 78. It's beautiful, made of black walnut, and they offered to spruce it up for my guy, who is due in December. I want it, but there isn't a drop side. I'm a first time Mom. Will I miss it? Is a drop side important? We can always get another crib later but any expense we can save is great right now, plus it's kinda cool. Thoughts?
