Is anyone thinking of hiring a doula?

Dear mums & mums to be😊 just wondering how u all cope after birth delivery? I plan on caesarean & my husband will only be able to take 2-3 weeks paternity leave and after that I’ll be on my own. Did u all get any help from anyone?

I wanted one but we paid for IVF last year so I think doulas are out of the question for now. My mom will be here but I doubt she will be of any help, so here’s the best I could do: An app called doula.

My mom is coming for a few weeks, then MAYBE his mom. We’re definitely getting a birth doula and may hire a postpartum doula after part time if necessary.
