Does everyone REALLY have a talent?

I know that I was always told that everyone is good at something and that I’ll find my gifts and talents. I’m sure a lot of you were told the same thing. I was recently thinking though if everyone actually is good at something. What do you think?

No i don’t believe so, some people are good and something some people are not and are just ordinary. Whats wrong with that? I also dont consider a lot of things talent, for me talent is drawing/paining not just a bunch of cats and dogs but actual Art, singing, acting/probably...
Most things people learn and they practice. You don’t naturally have the talent to play cello. I didn’t, but after classes and school for 19 years, i can. I think it is the same with many other disciplines; sports,dancing illusion stunts...
I think people should be more blunt and learn to accept that not everyone has a special “gift” and that is perfectly alright. The reality is some people are better at some things than others, i am not good and math but i am good at languages, however thats not talent.

Yes, everyone does have a talent for something. That doesn't mean that everyone excels at that talent and will be the best at it. For example, I have a knack for writing, I'm okay, but I'll never be a famous author, doesn't mean it isn't a talent of mine. 😊

I think so, I think that everyone has something that they're really great at, but that doesn't mean that you can be good at something that you want to be good at. I've always been good at writing, gardening not so much. I couldn't even keep a simple houseplant alive, or grow a stinking flower, but I was determined to grow something and I just never gave up. Now, after quite a few years of embarrassing little failures... I'm finding my green thumb! I've tried for five years to grow sunflowers and this year... is finally the year that I can say I did it! I have 25 sunflowers growing in my back yard and some are starting to form blooms. I'm getting better and better at this whole gardening thing... but it hasn't always been that way. So you can learn, and you can keep trying and practicing and eventually you'll get it right! Some things just take a lot of determination and a lot of practice and patience.

I’m awful at everything I do but I do enjoy certain things that I suck at. Not everyone has a talent. I am either bad or mediocre.

I have a weird thing, i can read or listen to something once, and remember almost every word. Same with looking at an image. 
I also danced from age 3-18 so i guess that’s a talent? 
A weird thing i can’t do: tell the time on a face clock.

Yes.  Everyone has something they are good at.  Just like everyone has something they are not good at.

I'm not trying to be a downer but in my opinion, I do not think everyone has a talent. I can't think of a single talent that I have. I suck at singing, drawing, painting, dancing, sports, you name it. I still enjoy doing many things but it sucks when I'm bad at everything I like to do :(
