Throbbing in left ovary?

This past week I have been having a dull throbbing pain in my left ovary. It is my ovulation week but I always was told that you only have the pain the day you ovulate, not all week. Does anyone ever experience it all week long? Today is the last day of my ovulation week and it’s still throbbing. So I’m not sure what it is.

Could be a cyst which is normal! I have one and I have some throbbing! I also get it during ovulation
