BABY MADE UR MARRIAGE BETTER?!?!

Question

So I keep reading posts about how having a baby can change relationships and ultimately cause couples to breakup, divorce, etc.
Is anyone willing to share a positive story about how a child positively impacted their (already good/happy) marriage/relationship? 
Personally, we are ready for a baby but reading negative posts are naturally freaking me out.

if you are in a healthy marriage and stable and both agree to have a baby I dont see how it could end your marriage having a child

Having a child brought me and my husband a lot closer together. I always considered us extremely tight knit but sharing our child made the feeling of an unbreakable bond even stronger.
We already were very happy and a child just added so much more happiness.
I love my husband probably 100x more than I did before we had a kid even though I thought I couldn’t love him anymore. The thing is seeing how amazing he is with our daughter just makes my heart melt.

Husband and I got married when I was 20 and he was 19 had a few rough patches in the start of our marriage but end up making us stronger in our relationship. Then we had fertility issues and end up needing to do IVF .  We now have a Beautiful 1 year old daughter and we couldn’t be happier we have been married now for 7 years and everything is perfect we are happy and we were ready to start our family when we had our little girl last year. Our love is strong and we are in love with our little family! So don’t listen to all those statistics. Best of luck 🤞😊😉

Don't let it freak you out! I got pregnant (unplanned) after being with my husband for nearly 8 years. We were extremely happy together. Having a baby did changed our relationship. It got really really hard for about 6 months. It was scary, and I see no point in sugar coating it. However, here we are almost 2 years later and we are happier than ever. I like to tell people to expect a rough patch after a baby because it is a big adjustment. If your love is strong, you don't need to be afraid. Now, I adore watching my husband and son play together and we can't wait to get pregnant again. I definitely feel like our relationship is stronger than ever because of our baby.

It brought me and hubby closer but it was a process the first couple of months were challenging but I think it has to do with our age we were immature (he was) lol but afree life settled it has made us way stronger and were a force to be wrecked with the 3 of us are a team 💖

I've never felt as close to my wife as I do now that we are trying for a baby. I have my daughter from a previous relationship and my wife is a fantastic mother to her. I haven't known what it feels like to conceive with a partner and go through the adventure together but I know it will spark new amaZing things in us and we will grow even more as a family. xx

All I can say is i was married at 19. I had a baby at 21 and my SO was 23. I think having a child young was difficult for us. I do think the things that would naturally break up a relationship didn’t break us up just made us work harder for our daughter. We are now married for 8 years our child is 6 and we’re starting to try for #2. But that’s just my story. 🤷‍♀️

each time i see him taking care of our baby girl my love for him just grows and grows! I'm not going to lie, post partum was a tough time in every aspect. It was hard on our marriage too. our experiences did bring us closer, and now I feel like he is truly my best friend for helping me through those darker times and for loving me the way he does. I was only 22-23 when we met, and we were so immature. We fought a lot and we fought mean, I snooped, he grumped, we were dirt poor while I finished grad school and he took entry level jobs. although we were in a better place when we started trying for a baby, we have grown and matured so much and I attribute most of that to our beautiful daughter.

We were married for like 6 months when we got pregnant. He’s one of the best things to have happened to us. My husband is excited to come home everyday and we love our lives relaxing and playing together. Kids definitely can bring to light certain issues, good or bad. My husband and I are a team and when I’ve had a hard day he comforts me and helps me as much as he can and visa versa.
