mine did every now and then when he would be out with his friends and had drank a little then 3 years later he checked on me(we were having a bad storm) and now we been married for going on 4 years and have a 1.5 year old son. So sometimes it works out for the best after a break up especially if you were young and dumb at the time of breakup lol

Yes. All of them. There’s the 3-6 month post texting that’s like would you ever reconsider? Then theres the let’s try to hang out as friends texts, then it’s I randomly thought of you/dreamt of you texts, and then it’s just sporadically to check in and see how life is treating you. All of my ex’s are from relationships that ended 7+ years ago though, so yeah.... the contact they make certainly evolves lol.
