Has anyone had an ultrasound at 4weeks?

Question

I had an ultrasound done today. My doctor said the sac looked abnormal but isn’t sure where the baby is. I am worried it could be another ectopic. They removed part of my left tube and they see a mass on that side. But I have no cramping or bleeding this time has anyone experienced something similar?

Unfortunately it was another ectopic this time on my right side I decided to take the medication this time since I already lost my left tube idk how to feel my boyfriend and I are heart broken we had high hopes for this pregnancy has anyone else experienced two ectopic pregnancy before ?

They wouldn’t be able to see anything at 4 weeks. It’s way way too early. They should have waited until 6-7 weeks so they could catch a heartbeat as well as finding the baby.

I would not go for ultrasound this early. I stress too much and my doc told me to come at 7 weeks.  My good friend had ultrasound at 5 weeks and 6 and 7. At first session they told her they don’t see anything, at second they said it looks bad and at last they said they were wrong and baby is doing well. So try to wait and hope, it may be ok, it is just too early to know for sure. Fingers crossed!!!!!!

So I had an ultrasound at 4 weeks and 2 days only because I was in an accident and the ER did it for precautions. They took my beta which was 281 and didn’t even see a sac on the ultrasound. I called my nurse all worried and she said that you can’t see anything on an ultrasound until your levels are 3000. Like HUGE relief but why the hell would the ER even do one if they knew that. So, yes, that is normal not to see anything this early.

Thank you all for the comments they have help me relax a bit. I am very hopeful this pregnancy goes will after losing my first me and my bf are on the edge trying not to get to excited which is kind of hard I get my hcg levels back tomorrow last week they were in the 230’s  so hopefully they went up.

I have gotten a sonogram at 4 weeks and was able to see the embryo and sac

ya too early. most won't even see you till 6-7 weeks like others said.

I can’t believe they would do that to you! There is no reason why that doctor should have freaked you out!! I mean the sac is literally still forming, and a hair of a turn one way or the other will show completely
