My husband used to get his 13 yr old daughter on the weekends when she was younger but his work schedule had change over the years and doesn’t see her much. He pays child support and will get her anything she needs/wants. For a couple years now my husband daughters mom is always giving him shit for not spending time with his daughter. The thing is... whenever we ask does she want to get picked up or when is she coming over; she doesn’t want to come over or is busy going to an event. She’s a pre teen and I know kids nowadays don’t like spending time with their parent especially if it’s just staying home. 🙄 so is it bad that the daughter chooses when she wants to see her dad?
