Bottle?

My son will be a week old, tomorrow. I am breastfeeding him, but he has been cluster feeding since day two AND he sucks so hard and drinks so fast, I’m in so much pain every feed.. is it too early to pump? Any bottles similar to the breast, or??.. first time breastfeeding 🤷‍♀️

Research pace feeding, it will help reduce the chance of baby refusing the breast in the future. You could also try a nipple shield. I recommend those gel cooling pads for your nipples & a good nipple cream (I really like the Honest Company one) & most of all - you can do it! Good luck Momma! ☺️

i think the earlier the better. i waited to long and my son refused a bottle

como tomo are designed for breastfed babies. but keep in mind that introducing a bottle before 6-8 weeks could result in baby refusing the breast after and only wanting a bottle

I bottle fed pretty early (I believe a week) and pumped the first week as well. I used “Breastflow” bottles and they did pretty well with my daughter. She eats way too fast and sucks crazy hard so I had to take a break. She’s almost two months and still does excellent with her latch and uses bottles and pacis pretty regularly also
