this genuinely made me laugh and it was nap time so I was like choking back laughter.

I was giving a break to my daycares 1 year old class teacher and her daughter woke up and sat up an hour and 30 minutes before nap time was over so I went to her and started patting her back.

She looks at me like “DONT” and grabs my hand and drops it where it won’t be on her cot and grabs her blanket and covers herself and went back to sleep.

Just her whole attitude and independence killed me 😂😂😂 like “I’m not a baby thank you very much. I can put my own self back to sleep” I think she’s almost 2 now and she’s always been more independent even as a little baby.
