Rhig eligibility?

I went for a blood test this morning to confirm my miscarriage and on the requisition it also said “Rhig eligibility”. I asked the tech thinking it would be a quick answer and it turned out it wasn’t and she uncomfortably tried to explain so I stopped her. I’ll of course ask my doctor but in the meantime was wondering if anyone else might be able to explain better? Thank you!
