One month

I know that it’s not a big deal, but I’ve never been in a relationship before now and I’ve just made it to one month with my boyfriend!

I never ever thought that I’d be in a relationship and honestly thought that I’d be single for life (which I have no problem with) - it’s surprising how happy I am and how comfortable I am with him.

My boyfriend is 23 and I’m 26 (he’s two and a half years younger) the last guy I dated is 47 - so it’s a big change! We’re each other’s first relationship.

We’re going away for the weekend from the 15-18 of June before I leave the country for two months. I told my boyfriend that I understood if he wanted to see other people while I’m away but he said that he only wants me and that I’m not to say such things anymore.

I struggle with self esteem issues but I know that he truly values me, even though I don’t understand why or how.

I feel so lucky - I found a good man who cares for me! I know that we’ve only been official for a month (I met him just over three months ago) but I honestly think that I’m falling in love with him.
