Is 20 to young to ttc

I’m 20 and my boyfriend is 26 he wants a baby so bad so we have decided to ttc he has a good paying job and his own place I have a job but do not have my own place. This was our first month ttc and I’m starting to wonder if im too young. I don’t want to tell him we won’t continue trying though because he has been bugging me for a child sense we been together. We have been together for a little over a year if we were to get pregnant I’d move in with him I have a good chunk of money so the money is not an issue I just don’t think I’m ready to commit to taking care of somebody and losing my freedom

I have now. If I tell him I don’t want a kid he will be very upset and I kinda feel bad because all his friends have kids and he always says he wishes to have one of his own 😭 I don’t know what to do
