I went to my OBGYN today because I’ve had bright red, heavily bleeding since the day I delivered my son and the flow is only getting heavier. He said that there’s some leftover membranes and that they should come out on their own. But if I’m still bleeding by next week, I should come back to get the procedure done. Should I wait till then? I’ve heard the longer I wait, the higher risk of hemorrhaging and I already have slight anemia thanks to genetics...? If I wait, what are the signs of hemorrhaging so I can know what to look for?
