ttc after miscarriage

i got off birth control around february, i was on the pill for almost 10 years prior. it took us 3 months of ttc to finally get my BFP, which ended in a miscarriage sadly on week 5. my hcg went from 235 last week, 6 days prior to that visit (which he said was on the low end), to 67 yesterday when i went to my OB. i started bleeding on tuesday and it hasn’t stopped yet but it’s always been on the lighter side. i asked why i haven’t expelled anything besides 2 small clots yesterday morning when i wiped and he said i probably wouldn’t it would just be like a period. i’m guessing the bigger clot was the baby considering glow told me he was the size of a chocolate chip😔 i’m trying to be positive about it because my mom and dad both told me it’s the body’s way of getting rid of a potential problem and that something could of been wrong with him. anyways back to my ttc story, i only had very slippery ewcm last month around ovulation (i use opks) so i guess it might of just took 3 months to ovulate after coming off the pill? my question is how does ttc work after an early miscarriage? do i need to wait until i get my period? or start BDing when i get a positive opk this month, if i do? i know hcg has to go back to 0 before you can conceive again but i’m assuming my hcg will be down to 0 by this weekend since it’s dropped so quickly already. is my bleeding now like my first period or what?
