How do I get my baby to hold her own bottle?

She's 7 months old, is she even physically capable of doing it yet? She's not breastfed and will not hold her bottle at all. Is it too soon to expect her to do it?

Every child is different but at 7 months, She should be holding it. When you’re feeding her, Place her hands on the bottle and you hold the end for support. She’ll start getting the hang of it

My son is almost 10 months and doesn’t hold his. 🤷🏼‍♀️ He’s fully capable but I’m pretty sure he’s just lazy and taking advantage of us doing it for him. I don’t mind, he’ll hold it when he wants to.

My baby is almost 11 months and in the pram he will hold it but at home he’ll no lol lazy little man! If I put his hands on it to hold it he will throw it.

Try a sippy cup. Since she won’t hold it maybe she’s not attached to a bottle and you can transition now before it’s harder!

my son never did out of laziness. he is 18 months now and can drink out of anything by himself. dont worry too much. some babies are just lazy. lol

Mine didn’t hold his bottle either...he was lazy cuz we knew he knew how. He’s 19 months now and still will let me hold his sippy if we let him (but we don’t) 🤪
