Baby food ?

Is anyone feeding there little one baby food or cereal yet ? If so how many weeks are ur babies ?

I give my 14week old oatmeal cereal(made with breast milk). 
Bananas (he absolutely loves!) but I have to give him apple juice when I feed him bananas. 
And this week we tried green beans , they are a great source of fiber! He actually liked green beans too. Not sure which food I will introduce next week, if I will introduce a new food.

We’re planning on starting baby led weaning at 6 months (if my son is ready per the requirements)....

That’s what my doctor told me to go by. If your child is formula fed , there has been studies to show that introducing food before 6months increases the risk of childhood diabetes. If LO is breastfed there is no correlation.

I’m trying a bit of baby porridge (3/4spoons) in the mornings with my lil girl (3.5 months) will try other foods when she really enjoys what she’s having so far. Some days she loves it others not at all interested🤷🏽‍♀️ but it’s made with her formula and she still has a bottle straight after

my 4 month old eats a jar of baby food everyonce in a while not all the time

Our baby is 4 months old and when we went in for his shots the doctor said he is ready for baby foods and to start introducing peanut and eggs to help avoid allergies. Given he is very advanced, rolls over both directions, crawling using his head to help lol, and salivating A LOT.

I'm planning to start oatmeal cereal in formula bottles at 5 mo., per my Lactation Consultant's recommendation. Going to try the Happy Baby organic brand. Not sure how long I'll wait to start incorporating solid foods, but maybe at 6 mo. if baby's holding her head up well enough by then (she's still a little shaky).
