I’m a new military fiancé, my soon-to-be husband just graduated from basic training this past week and left the day after for 12 more weeks of AIT. Gratefully, I’ll be able to talk to him more often, but I got home today and just sat on my bed crying for two hours because I have these thoughts in the back of my mind like “what if he comes back and doesn’t want to be with me anymore?” “what if he thinks I look fat and disgusting when he sees me again?” “What if we drift apart and he changes his mind about us getting married?” and to be quite honest, it’s eating me alive right now. We still love each other and we still plan to get married, I’m just so worried.
