Piece of Shit Dad

So I am scheduled to start work in 6 days. My car has rust holes in it and before I can get a new inspection sticker they need to be patched up. This has been going on for almost 3 months now and my dad has not fixed it. He could have fixed it today but he decided to go to the bar and get drunk. He does this all of the time. He never wants to do anything for his family. Not to mention I have 2 other sisters and a brother that he left when they were babies. Out of all of my siblings, why did he decide to stay with me? He's made my life miserable. When I was younger he would beat my mom and I and I even seen him pull a knife on her. He still abuses my mom verbally. I just to leave already and I won't be able too until I graduate in the spring of 2019. I don't know if I can take it any longer. I wish he never stayed in my life. Idk how to cope with this anymore.
