Did my IUD fall out?

I’ve had my mirena iud for almost a month and I started my first period with it. It’s been pretty heavy and A LOT of blood clots. Before I felt a lot of pain like serve cramps because of the iud but now I do not have any pain. Idk if i should be worried that it fell out and was in one of the blood clots or what. Any advice or anyone whose experienced the same things would be very helpful please comment. (My checkup appointment isn’t until July.)

I’ve had 2 partially come out. Both were during my period. I felt pretty bad cramps. But you will be able to feel the plastic end of the actual IUD sticking through your cervix 😬😬 So sorry if this is what’s going on with you, try to see your doctor ASAP

I’ve had three and one of mine came out once. You would be in a ton of pain. I bled more blood than I did with even giving birth. It was horrible I had to go to the emergency room. Your first few cycles with mirena could be painful as it’s trying to settle. Once mine settles im soooo much more comfortable. I love my IUD and always will!!

If it fell out I think there would be pain an discomfort... but bleeding is a side effect of the IUD I believe and if it doesn’t go away after 6 months then you should have it taken out (from what I’ve been told)

Can you feel your strings? I can’t feel mine because mine are cut short but I figure it’s still in since I haven’t seen it anywhere haha and my periods are still irregular which they weren’t before the IUD
