How much did your baby weigh at 36 weeks?

I know ultrasounds aren’t completely accurate as to measuring baby’s weight but I had a growth scan at 36+5 day and she was weighing at 6lbs & 13oz, they didn’t tell me if that was good or bad so I was wondering if that’s considered big or small for how far along I am.?

My doctor had told me that it's not extremely accurate, they said measurements can go either way by 2 pounds and/or 2 weeks (if you're measuring ahead or behind when you're that far along.) He was right. my daughter was measuring 6 lbs 8 oz at 35 weeks but was born at 38 weeks measuring 5 lbs 12 oz. so dont stress it.

my doctor told me (to ease my mind because they estimated my child 4 lbs 6 oz at 30 weeks) that the further along you are the less accurate their estimations are. they can measure his bones and guess, but they cant measure anything like fat or true weight.

Mine measured 8lbs 8oz when she born she was 8lbs 6oz I don’t think they are very accurate at all. They told my friend she would have a small baby and gave her the injection in her back and her baby was 9lbs 7oz.

I had my second at 35+6. He was 7lbs 2oz. They said he was big for his age. If he kept going for another month. 😳 yikes. The ultrasound estimates can be way off. They measured my coworkers wife and were expecting around 7lbs and the baby was only 5.5lbs.
