Measuring behind?

Can anyone explain this a little better to me? My doctor seems to not be worried about it, but at my last appt 2 weeks ago, I was 32 weeks, but measuring 29 weeks. That’s about all they told me 🤦🏻‍♀️

I did that to and the next week she measured a week ahead. It really depends on the position your baby is. Don’t stress it! 😊

I’ve been measuring 1-2 weeks behind & the midwife said its no big deal. The measurements aren’t exact & give or take 2 is within normal range. I’d guess the practitioners placement could easily make a difference too.

Same thing happened to me. Exactly the same measurements 32 weeks measuring 29 almost 30. When I went in for my 34 week check up she was back on track. Measuring 34 weeks.

Depends on position of baby, what number pregnancy this is for you, growth, all sorts of things. Unless there’s a consistent pattern of baby measuring behind it’s not much to worry about, and usually they don’t worry unless baby is measuring 4+/-

usually they just give an estimate..  
they told me my daughter (almost 4 years ago) was two weeks ahead and may weigh around 8 and was 19inches long when born at 39 weeks
she was born at 37 weeks being 9 pounds 21 inches long..

It’s not all that accurate.. if your worried request a growth ultrasound to check on baby..
