Won’t eat

I’m having so much trouble getting my little bug to eat solids. I’m lucky if he tastes a bite or two during a meal. I never push it on him and try to sit him down to eat in a good mood, but he still turns away. He likes playing with his spoon, but he won’t have food.. and we’ve been trying solids for well over a month now, so I really feel we should have made some more progress. Any advise on how to encourage some real eating?
