Humans themselves can get giardia, but its not the same type... humans get it from contaminated stagnant water, the only parasite you can get from your dog is hook worm because the burrow through the skin.

The bacteria responsible for Giardiasis does not cross the placenta so it won’t harm the baby but as for you, your symptoms (if any) can be treated by a doctor with medication.
