Which gender did your SO want?

Question

I’ve always heard men wanting boys, for obvious reasons.
Play sports, male bonding hobbies etc
But lately I’ve seen a lot of men being team pink/girl
My friends all said they always want daddy’s little princess
So I want to know what gender your SO wanted 
And what was his reaction 
if he was sad or a bit disappointed to find out it was the opposite sex
And how happy and excited he was when it was gender he hoped for

My husband preferred a boy, but not for the reasons you listed. I think he was more concerned with having a teenaged daughter and how difficult they can be 😬

My husband wanted a boy so bad and at our 20 week appt they told us it was a boy we were so excited even though secretly I wanted a girl and my pregnancy was great and I had to have a c section cause I was overdue and being induced didn’t work at all and and twenty min later they pulled the baby out and said it’s a girl!!! Lol my husband was shocked and disappointed in the moment but we wouldn’t change it for the world

I wanted boy and my husband wanted the same for our first. then sa.e thing happened woth our current 2nd pregnancy. both wanted girl and be done. Easier to deal for us in the moment. who knows. if our hearts expand we may be open to adoption since both of us were once....

Before we were even pregnant I asked my husband what he wanted and was shocked when he said girl. I asked why and he said he wanted a daddy’s girl. We are having a boy but no disappointments here. We are thrilled as it took us 2 years to get pregnant.

My husband wanted a boy but was ok with a girl now that he has her to play with and spend time with he says he prefers we have another little girl😍 we are ttc and I’m the one who wants the boy😂

He honestly didn’t care. He kept originally saying he wanted a boy because he has a daughter who is an adult now, but then he’d say “nope I want another daddy’s girl”. 
In the end he skipped around the house going “it’s a boy! It’s a boy!!” Over and over again when we found out 🤣🤣🤣. 
I think we were both just happy that he was healthy and growing well after it took us 8 months of trying. (Currently 26w6d)

For our first he didn't care. She was a girl and we were both happy because thats what I wanted. For our second he wanted a boy because he said 2 teenage girls would be alot to handle 😂 I'm pregnant with a boy now, I wanted a girl and I'm feeling a bit disappointed but I know I'll love baby either way. He's really happy its a boy this time.

We both were hoping for a girl because he already had 2 boys and I have 1. We had another boy but when we found out we were still super happy. I was worried he would be disappointed but he wasn’t at all. He picked his name (River) so he was pretty excited about that especially since I loved it too 😊

for our first he wanted his daddys little girl and he got her, I wanted a boy. for our second he didn't really mind what we had but when we found out another girl he said "I'm moving out" joking obviously 😂 I again wanted a boy so I have been disappointed both times but I love my little girl with my entire heart!
