I’m having a hard time figuring out if I want my mom in the delivery room or not. My husband and I have talked and think it would be better to just have us. But my mom has pretty much invited herself to be in the room and she will be staying with us for a week after I give birth (her idea completely). With this being my first baby, I want to be able to bond and have time with the baby before everyone wants to visit. My mom has already made a comment about how she WILL be the first person besides my husband and I to hold him. My sister allowed her to do as she pleases when my niece was born. I’m not as easy going, but she doesn’t like to listen.

I just want to know if anyone has not had their mom in the delivery room, and how you told her she wasn’t going to be there. I don’t want to start WW3, but I feel like I have no other option. Please help
