Can I still breastfeed if I have herpes? I’ve been reading that blood can leak into your milk without knowing (from cracked nipples, or other type of sores) & I’m extremely worried of passing it to my daughter if she has a sore in her mouth or for any other reason? I’m going to ask my doctor at my next appointment but wondering if anyone else has any experience with it so I know what to expect? Can she get it from just ingesting the blood?
