My husband and I are due to have our baby boy in early December. I’m already having slight anxiety over having a winter baby and all the germs, common colds, flu. Hubby and I both work in healthcare so maybe we are hyper aware of this. Anyway, every year my mother in law hosts New Year’s <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a> in Ohio and my husbands large Italian family comes to town for several days to celebrate and visit. I honestly don’t know if there’s a way I can avoid everyone seeing and wanting to hold my fresh little baby with an immature immune system lol. The only thing I’m thinking is I won’t attend the big New Year’s <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a> party and people can come to our house in small groups to visit. That way I can at least feel semi in control of the situation instead of being in a room full of 30 very kissy touchy old Italians trying to make sure no one is coughing or sneezing around him. lol. Thoughts?? Anyone ever have a baby around the holidays and feel this kind of anxiety??
