His full name is Joseph Logan August but we don’t want to call him Joey(his dads name) or Joe (Grandpas name) or Logan because it’s my brother in laws name. So calling him Leo would make sense.

I looove the name Leo, but why not just name him Leo and have Joseph Logan be middle names so he gets the first name you want to actually call him and still honour the family with middle names? 
Personally seems odd to me to name a child 2 names you don’t want to call him

Don’t listen to anyone that says your weird , when me and my SO finally get our rainbow baby if it’s a boy it will be named Christopher John after him and he knows alot of guys named Chris , John & cj so his nickname will be cricket cause he’s our little man ya know nick names are nick names for a reason it doesn’t have to do anything with your real name 🙌💕✨👌💯
