fertile cervical mucus? help

hey.. So today I got my fertile egg white mucus.. which means to have sex for ttc! BUT I don't get my positive opk until (day 13) which is Thursday, so 2 days from now I will get my positive opk.. which I thought meant I needed to have sex?    so why is my cervical mucus happening right now and not around my positive opk???

I got my cervical mucus today too which on here it say my dpo and O day is in 2-3 days. I don't want to miss my most fertile days.

From what I have come to understand, it occurs 1-2 prior to ovulation.
