What was the dumbest thing/lie you believed as a kid?

Well I dont have anything from when I was a kid but I am guilty of a few things with my kids..... When I do have a drink it looks like their juice and theyre used to stealing whatever I had to drink. So when its an alcoholic drink I let them know thats "mommom juice" I told them if they drink "mommom juice" their head will explode. I know they fully believe this because I overheard my oldest (6) warn his younger siblings that their head would explode if they tried to drink it.

I used to catch lizards. I kept ripping the tail off by accident and my grandma told me if you rip the tail off it will follow you home and go up your nose while your sleeping....
