Is it okay for your bf to talk to girls he’s dated, has sex with or has had feeling for?

For some reason my bf thinks it’s okay to talk to girls he’s been with or girls he’s had sex with. And I tell him all the time it makes me feel uncomfortable. I just need opinions if I’m overreacting. And should let it go.

I don’t know how I’m still amazed at the percent of women who have a problem with their man talking to other females. If he’s not harboring feelings for any of them or trying to have more than friendship with them, why is it a problem? I will never understand.

One if my closest friends is one of my ex’s. We ended our relationship 11 years ago and we were together 5 years. I don’t see the issue. I have a few male friends that I dated and it didn’t work out. One of my closest married friends and I dated long ago as well. We are still friends. 
I believe ex’s can be friends. I’ve proven that it’s true. If I wanted to F them, I would, but clearly I’ve had opportunity and I don’t. Being insecure about it doesn’t help. 
These are friends he had before you. They are likely friends he will have after you. I’d rather have someone who recognizes the good in the people he dated and stays friends with them, over the guy who Mother F’s all of his ex’s.

Do you mean talking as in talking everyday/texting etc? If that’s the case then your definitely not overreacting. There’s no reason for him to have contact with them unless he’s wanting to go back there again. If it’s something he wouldn’t like you doing then it’s not okay.

I would let it go unless its actually affecting your relationship. Unless hes choosing these girls over you, talking to them more, putting their needs before yours, being inappropriate with them or flirting... then what's the issue.  If you can't trust him then maybe rethink the relationship but at the end of the day it never ends well controlling who your partner is allowed to befriend

I mean I guess it depends on the situation. Some people have an ex that just didn’t work and are able to be friends... but like to keep contact with all the women he’s fucked would be weird and it depends on the spouse... like if she’s uncomfortable I think the guy should be open to cutting contact with people he’s slept with in the past! My so slept with a lot of the girls in his group of friends but he doesn’t like message them or anything it’s just at social events i get a little internally jealous when I see them talking like his dick was in her idn lol I have never made a thing about it but everybody’s different

It doesn't bother me. It would only bother me if I felt something about their friendship was off. I still talk to guys I've dated in the past, they'll occasionally message me every few months or so.

I have never had a problem with that with my bf consider I was his first sexual experience. He does talk to old exs but he reads the conversation to me as it goes along and he let me have my fingerprint in his phone so I can go and look whenever if I am suspicious. If this was the case with you I would say it is fine because you know they aren't talking about things that should worry you. Although if he is just texting them and not letting you know unless you ask or not telling you what they have been saying then I see the concern.
