I’m almost 4 weeks postpartum and struggling with the recovery. I want to be back to normal and not hurt or feel uncomfortable anymore so I can get back to my active lifestyle.

I felt like things were getting better, I was having less discharge and it was no longer red. After wiping after a bowel movement yesterday I’ve been bleeding again. It’s not enough to fill a pad but definitely more than I’ve had in a few weeks. Also, I had a second degree tear that I feel is still not closed up. I think my stitches came out early, the doctor had told me a week ago he thought I should be fine.

Is this normal? What would cause the bleeding again? When have other people had the discharge and bleeding stop?
