public restroom changes? two different stories

BAM • 🦊 3.29.18 💜

ok so I've now seen two different stories- one was a father out on a walk with his baby who needed their diaper changed. he went into I believe a McDonald's and there were no changing tables in the men's bathroom so he changed her on a blanket on the floor.

-he now wants changing tables in all men's rooms.

second story

a mother of a 7 year old with certain special needs problems wants all men and womens restrooms to have dim lights, single flush toilets, quieter hand driers and adult sized changing tables.

what are your thoughts? my local news site put both stories out on Facebook and I was reading the comments and couldn't believe the nasty comments making it all liberals/snowflakes/millennials fault.

"back in my day we laid the child over our lap to change them!"

ect. ect.

personally I think the mother of the 7 year old is pushing it, I understand it's hard! but what she wants is kind of pushing what basic places can do.

for the guy wanting changing tables in men's rooms though, I think that's totally doable and I was surprised at how many people thought that was stupid.
