Ladies! Questions about Femara!

A little about me: I have PCOS and do not ovulate regularly on my own. I took 5 rounds of Clomid, ovulated 3 times but did not conceive, on 50mg dose (with the trigger) and then during the 4th month found out that my lining was ultra thin and my body did not want to ovulate (had 2 follicles, 9-11mm whereas I was getting at least 1 at 22mm). So I decided to try 100mg the 5th round and had the same result. :(

I took a break for 3 months and haven’t had a period since so I went into my doc. He said that since I’ve lost a little weight and had time to let my body rest, why not try 5mg Femara as it typically works better for patients with PCOS (ok dude then why didn’t we start there!! is what I thought lol) so here I am on progesterone day 4, about to start my period within a week or two and a new medication. I’ll have follicle monitoring and likely the trigger to be extra sure but I’m just looking for success stories or advice to keep me going. After trying for so many months with Clomid I’m not as hopeful for the Femara. But I still believe it can happen! Thanks!! Baby dust to all!
