anyone still using infant inserts in carseat?

I have a Nuna Pipa carseat. My baby is around 13.5 pounds and I'm still using the infant insert for him. Is anyone else using the insert still? when did you stop using it?

I am and my daughter was 16lbs at her last check up over a month ago. My husband and I took the insert out but still think she needs the extra padding

We don’t. We have the chicco keyfit30 and you’re supposed to take the insert out at 12lbs.

I took the head insert out a while ago but still have the bottom one in the car seat. Honestly I just forget that it's an insert and he's not uncomfortable so I haven't messed with it.

My bub is around the same weight. We were told to keep using it until bub gets frustrated with it, it’s safer for them especially if you have to brake suddenly

We don’t anymore as of like a week ago. We took it out to wash it and when we put it back she screamed and started hating car rides 
Sooo we took it out and now she’s fine
Her head rolls to the side now though when she naps and I hate it. I’m always in the back holding it or pushing it back 🤦🏻‍♀️
