Is craving ice a symptom of pica? I haven’t wanted to eat sand, dirt, laundry detergent etc. just ice because its cold and crunchy and very satisfying since it’s so hot here.

Craving ice is really common during pregnancy but it can also be a symptom of low iron levels so keep an eye on that!

I craved ice and snow a lot when I was really iron deficient. I'd get your levels checked to see if that's the case.

Actually craving ice is pica but some people that have anemia crave ice as well because they are iron deficient.
