How Much Was Your Baby’s Estimated Weight @ 30w Scan?

FTM. Today we had our 30w growth scan and the doctor told us the baby’s estimated weight is currently 3 lbs 15 oz. She didn’t seem concerned about it, but that seems a little big to me at this point. Just curious how everyone else’s little one was weighing in around 30w... And if your baby’s already been born, how did their estimated weight at 30w compare with their actual birth weight? Thanks!

Those estimates are usually very inaccurate.

My LO was measured at 4lbs at 30w. Rhe further along you are the less accurate those scans become. 
They kept saying that he would come early a d ne almost 10lbs.
My little one was born at 8lbs 5oz and came one day before he was due :P

34 week ultrasound he was measuring 5 lb 9 oz 🙃🙃 38 weeks now..

Having a 30 week growth scan isn’t a normal thing where I live. Typically you only get a growth scan if you are measuring 3 weeks over or behind where you should.

My high risk doc said he estimates my daughters birth weigh at about 7 pounds 10 ounces. He estimated that based on my 18weeks scan

Didn’t have any 30 week scan. Nothing past 20 weeks

Hmm, interesting  Where I live, there is no 30w scan (assuming pregnancy is progressing normally). Just the 12w dating scan and 20w anatomy scan.

baby sounds on the bigger side. the average at 30 weeks is 2.9 pounds. my last ultrasound was at 26 weeks and she was measuring 2 lbs 3 oz, which is also a little bigger than the average. I get another scan on Tuesday at 32 weeks so I guess I'll see how much she's gained here soon.
