Brown spotting post miscarriage

Dear lovely ladies,

Some opinions would be appreciated please. I had a miscarriage at the beginning of March at 5.5 weeks. Since then, I’ve had 4 periods all of which have been preceded by 4-5 days of constant brown spotting, not enough to fill a pad but there when I wipe. The period itself is then 3 days - 1 day red blood then 2 days light spotting.

When I had my miscarriage they also found a 2cm cyst on my ovary which has since disappeared and my uterine lining at cycle day 17 last month was only 5mm which seems pretty thin.

I know the brown spotting isn’t implantation bleeding, because clearly I’m not pregnant. Do you think I could have a hormonal imbalance post miscarriage. Would a doctor give me anything!?

Hate being a woman right now. Stupid body 😞
