How did you announce your pregnancy to your family?

I want to hear all of your stories or ideas on how you announced!

We announced on Easter and put the ultrasound in plastic eggs. Everyone expected scratch tickets (a family tradition), so they were very surprised! I wish we had filmed it, but I was so nervous I forgot!

I live in a different city from my parents so I sent them a funny announcement card from Etsy. It had a drawing of a positive test and said "oh shit" written on it 😂 It was totally unexpected so I think it make it less of a shock

My parents are huge Texas longhorn fans. They never miss a home game lol. They invited all of us over to watch a game and a cook out. I wore a Future Longhorn Arriving soon shirt.  When I walked in the house they saw the shirt and flipped out. It was perfect!

We got a onesie made that said "grandpas little helper". we celebrated fathers day last weekend with the in laws and i wrapped my FIl present with the onesie at the very bottom.  he opened it up and was comoletely shocked. it was a great surprise and i was super nervous but it made it easier telling people that way then saying it lol

Just walk in the room and scream “I’m pregnant tadaaa!” lol, just kidding .  I didn’t make much of a grand announcement the surprise was more than enough lol.
