What should I buy?

Question

Hi ladies! I’m due next month and wondering what all I need to buy for breastfeeding! I have a pump on the way, so obviously I’ll need bags. What else do I need to buy?!

Nipple cream
Nursing pads in case of boob leaks (I bought reusable and disposable)
A great water bottle
Easy one hand snacks you can eat while nursing (trail mix, granola bars, etc)
Bags to store milk (if you want to have a stash or are going back to work)
Nursing tanks or bras (I have a weird band size so I prefer my tanks from Motherhood Maternity to wear daily. I bought 8 in case of spit ups)
Extra parts for the pump (flanges, valves, tubing, membranes. I have a spectra and needed smaller flanges so I bought some off of amazon from Nenesupply so I have two sets of 21 mm flanges)
Nursing bra for pumping at work (I have this piece called Clip in Pump off Amazon - basically a bra without straps that clips into your nursing tank/bra that you’re already wearing but it has the holes for the flanges to fit into)
Pump bag (I use a Victoria’s Secret tote bag)
I think that’s all my essentials when pumping!!

Nursing pads. Nipple cream. I needed nipple shields in the beginning until I got used to it. And I love my nursing pillow.

I bought nipple cream , pads, compress for tender breasts it’s from nasonil brand , you can warm them up or freeze them . Also breast feeding bras & tank tops ! Those are the best I didn’t get them for my first but I did for my second that’s all I wear literally since it’s warm where I live . Also a cover for when you breast feed the one I got stretches it covers my whole upper body and it’s cute lol. You can wear it as a scarf and I also use it as a car seat cover . 3 in 1 .

pump—i have a double electric that i have yet to use (my son is 7weeks). i use the medela hand pump i got in the hospital 
bags—i like the medela brand
nipple cream—i like the lansinoh brand
pads—lansinoh 
ice/heat—lansinoh makes microwavable/freezable bags for your boobs and you need that
nursing bras—try a bunch of brands. i think theyre so uncomfortable 
nursing tops—latched mama makes nice ones
nursing cover—mom boss

you said you've got a pump and are getting breast milk bags. nursing bras, nursing tops, breast pads, a bottle or two depending how much you'll be bottle feeding (I recommend como tomo), nursing cover if you prefer to be covered, nursing pillow (or lots of regular pillows), nipple cream
of course none of these are necessities, they just make life easier. some people like all these things, someone prefer none and some only like a few of them
