TTC: Brown discharge a week before periods

Hello ladies,

We have been trying to conceive past few months. This cycle I ordered ovulation test strips to help time the intercourse this time. I had been noticing weird discharges. 3 days after sexual intercourse, I had a milky white runny discharge without any smell. Now after 10 Days ( a week before periods), I noticed a lil brown discharge that had a foul smell. The discharge and odor didn’t last long, but has left me getting worried about it.. Ladies, pls help me identify what could be happening. I couldn’t get my OBGYN appointment this week.. so hoping the knowledge from you ladies can help. Thanks a lot..
